As Chalice, Deborah never verbally communicates, especially when working with Scarlet Owl. When she isn't in costume, she barely speaks then, too. Deb isn't a talker... But she is a thief and pick-pocket. After high school, Deb was chased from her home by her step mother and she never looked back. Despite her having to live off of others things while on the street, Deb picked up some valuable traits and skills that enabled her to become The Chalice. Having been raised in religion by her mother before she died, then the odd atheistic ways of her father before he was shot, and the nomadic/druid-like lifestyle of her step mother, Deb noticed the symbolism of the Chalice... Though, she won't speak of her exact reasons, it is very obvious that she will not lose her religion anytime soon.

Kacey was home schooled up until high school... Her mother, having gained new found friends and a rich husband sent her beloved and twitchy daughter off to a Private school where the girls instantly shunned the smart-but-weird home-schooled girl. This didn't help Kacey's untreated condition and sent her into a quiet cycle of revenge and depression. Kacey would often prank the other girls or frighten them to where they nick-named her the Devil, or Owl-Eyed-Freak. You see, she had a knack for staring wide-eyed at the girls who poked fun or whispered about her. Her cousin, whom she noticed was in fact, Red Mist, came to visit one day while on the run and she pulled him aside to discuss her becoming a Villain too. That the people should be very afraid of them and deserved whatever punishment they dealt out to the people. After many hours and a few days of her prodding, he agreed and helped to train her how to do what he did. Furthering her "education", Kacey asked for fighting lessons, which, her mother, uncertain but busy, agreed to pay for. Despite her Mental Condition, Kacey seems to behave smoothly and confidently when she becomes Scarlet Owl. Perhaps this will heal her?

I was away from Sunday to about an hour ago today, and while I was where I was, I worked on this. The Pattern's for Deborah's shirt and one-piece are in my gallery. I have also decided that S.O. shall indeed be red and the pink shall be an alternate. It took me FOREVER to complete this, and should you ask as to why S.O. has three versions of her Costume, I will assume that you are either blind or retarded. And, yes, I removed the streaks!
Chances are, I might just be doing a lot of these. Not necessarily for the Kick Ass Fandom, but for fun or other characters. Despite how time consuming this is at times, and how much I just wish to finish after starting, I do enjoy the work and the final product. ^^
